Agnes-Searching Beauty

Another piece observing the 3-component principle. The bottom sheet was a piece of Matsumoto fiber, a rare and expensive material used in Japanese papermaking. The indigo-black imprint was done using a plexiglass plate inked with those pigments and run through an intaglio press. Middle sheet was willow paper and the top was a sheet of kozo saturated with watercolor while the paper was still drying.
